Farm Fresh Caprese Flatbread

Fresh veggies, greens, and cheese combined for an Italian dinner in twenty minutes. Our Farm Fresh Caprese Flatbread recipe, created by Ready Set Dinner, makes it easy to throw a quick meal together the whole family will love. 

Ingredients (4 servings):

  • 1 1/4 Tbsp balsamic vinegar

  • 6 Tbsp fresh basil

  • 11.3 oz mozzarella

  • 2 Tbsp olive oil

  • 3 dashes pepper

  • 3 dashes salt

  • 3 tomatoes

  • 9.9 oz flatbread

Instructions:

  1. Heat the oven to 400 unless indicated differently on the flatbread packaging. 
  2. Cut tomatoes and mozzarella into slices. Take basil leaves off the stem and tear them into smaller pieces. 
  3. Put flatbread on parchment paper. 
  4. Evenly lay out mozzarella and tomato slices on flatbread. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with olive oil. 
  5. Place parchment paper with the flatbread on the oven rack evenly spread out. 
  6. Bake for 7-9 minutes (or as indicated on the flatbread packaging) until flatbread is baked through and mozzarella is slightly melted. 
  7. Add basil leaf pieces and bake for another 1-2 minutes until mozzarella is slightly browned. 
  8. If desired, sprinkle with a few drops of balsamic vinegar just before serving.
