Q: Have the eggs been refrigerated before delivery?

A: Thank you for your interest in Becker Farms products. As required by law, these have been refrigerated prior to delivery. Although, they have not been washed, so they meet European table egg requirements. Thank you Kyle

Q: Please tell me the color of your yolks? Looking for horns not yellow yolks. Thanks in advance

A: Good morning, Thank you for your interest in Becker Farms. In the winter our yolks are bright yellow, coming into spring as the the grass greens up they turn more and more orange, when the dandelions bloom in April and may they get really orange, then in the summer they lighten up again and in the fall their is a second dandelion bloom and they get very orange again. Hope that helps, the yolk pigment comes from the natural pigments in the grasses and flowers that the hens eat. In the winter, they have pretty much picked through everything they want to eat. As the spring comes the yolk color will continue to intensify. Thanks Kyle

format_quoteJust to let you know - the eggs are full of flavor and delicious. My last dozen had 2 cracked eggs and 1 broken one (shell cracked clean across) in styrofoam container. format_quote

format_quoteNice bright yolks! I would purchase again. I was pleasantly surprised to see from Mooreland, IN since I grew up there my whole life! It's a nice reminder that I have access to farm-fresh eggs all the way in the "big" city of Indy. format_quote

format_quoteThe eggs I received are very pale and don't seem all that fresh as they aren't very flavorful. They are also Grade B which isn't that big of a deal but it would have been nice for that to be put in the description. format_quote
