Our half chickens are simply our whole birds, carefully cut in half—perfect for smaller households, quicker meals, or trying our pasture-raised poultry without committing to a full bird. Each half averages 1.5 to 2 pounds and includes a mix of both white and dark meat. Raised right here on our family farm, Wannabe Farms in Barnesville, Georgia, our chickens are fed a certified organic diet, free from GMOs, corn, and soy. They’re moved daily on fresh pasture, soaking up sunshine and foraging in open space—just the way nature intended. Raised by our family—with help from our five young children—these birds are clean, ethically raised, and full of real flavor. A nourishing option you can feel great about serving. Note: Our farm is currently in the process of obtaining USDA Organic certification and is in the final stages of becoming Certified Naturally Grown.
