Fruits & Vegetables:

Shallots are sweeter than onions. A great substitute or addition to all dishes. I will choose a shallot over an onion any day. Each pint weighs about 3/4 pound. USA / Oh / Fayette County

Q: May be a silly question, but do they come by the pint, or lb and are they as pictured.

A: Shallots are 3/4 pound to each order. It depends on the size on how many you pieces you would actually get. Thank you. Kelly

format_quoteI've never seen such large shallots; I received 3. They have such a good flavor, and it's definitely getting me to think of different ways to use them. format_quote

format_quoteThese shallots are definitely worth getting! I wish we could add photos! Fresh. Pretty. And they last a long time! Just added to our salads tonight! Very nice taste. I had to give 2 away because there were so many! Seriously. Buy some! format_quote
