What makes our farm special?
We believe in leaving our land better than how we found it...reviving the earth by being the best environmental stewards of the land that we can be.
We want to see plants and animals thrive in natural environments. Using old school methods of pastured livestock, combined with the highest of farming technology, we strive to make farming something that is possible on a smaller and more local scale.
Much of farming today has been cut off from the public and consolidated to a few large corporations funded largely by government programs. What happened to the Jeffersonian ideal of each person having the skills to produce food and work the land? We have become so far removed from our food, and we believe it's our responsibility to bring that connection back. We want to see families come visit our farm, to see, to touch, to hear...to learn about their food once again.
It is simple. It is fulfilling work. And it is only just the beginning.
We have been so blessed to now have our own land in South Beaver Township in western PA! Together with our two boys and the help of our customers, we are working to regenerate our 21 acres into a functional farm.
It is both our passion to see locally, humanely raised food and to see farming become something for young people once again.
