Bluegrass Belties Farm and Orchard

Carlisle, KY

About

Veteran owned Farm, Orchard and Bakery. Continuing to serve from farm to table.
Bluegrass Belties Farm & Orchard is owned and operated by veteran of 18 years James and Katie Martin-Sorrell alongside their 3 children Broedy, Whitley, and Reece. Nestled in the rolling hills of north central Kentucky, all members of this hard working family manage the farm, which includes a small herd of Crafted Buelingo Belted Cattle, a diverse pome and stone fruit orchard, and bakery.
It is important to the Martin-Sorrell family to provide the most natural / freshest food possible to people who can't produce their own but wish to have a closer relationship with their food producer. In 2014, Bluegrass Belties joined the Kentucky Proud Homegrown for Heroes Program and works with other veteran farmers locally and across the country.
