About
Playtime Pastures is a family owned & operated farm located in Baltimore County in the small, rural community of Woodstock, Maryland. We began raising beef cattle and chickens so that we could provide friends and family with more nutritious, locally grown proteins. Our beef cattle are all bred, born and raised right on our 75 acre farm. We grass feed and grain finish which means that we do not pen up our animals on feed lots. We let them roam the pastures foraging for seasonal grasses and foliage while offering them grain. We then ship them to a local USDA processing facility where the beef is vacuumed sealed and flash-frozen to ensure product quality. Poultry is 100% raised and processed on our farm as we have been licensed through the Maryland Department of Agriculture to do so.
