About

Tuscarora Creek Farms is a family-owned farm based in Frederick, Maryland, dedicated to growing fresh, high-quality produce, herbs, and flowers for our local community. We focus on clean, naturally grown food that supports healthier households while keeping our products accessible for families, restaurants, and local markets.
What sets us apart is our commitment to growing a diverse range of culturally significant crops. In addition to traditional vegetables and herbs, we specialize in African, Asian, and international varieties that are often difficult to find in conventional grocery stores. From nutrient-rich leafy greens like jute leaf (molokhia) and amaranth, to specialty herbs and globally inspired crops, we aim to serve the rich cultural diversity of our community.
Our farm operates using natural growing practices that prioritize soil health, sustainability, and long-term land stewardship. We do not use synthetic fertilizers and instead rely on organic soil amendments, drip irrigation, and environmentally responsible methods that align with Certified Naturally Grown standards.
As a working family farm, every crop is planted, maintained, and harvested by hand with care and intention. We harvest at peak freshness to ensure the highest quality, delivering products directly from our field to your table.
In addition to fresh produce, we also offer microgreens, culinary herbs, starter plants, and seasonal flower bouquets throughout the growing season.
By supporting Tuscarora Creek Farms, you’re not just buying fresh food—you’re supporting local agriculture, reducing food miles, and helping build a more resilient, culturally inclusive food system.
