At Woodsbrook Farms, meals are a sacred time spent with friends and loved ones around the dining table. When we think about dinner time, we don’t go to the grocery store to plan and ponder — we go to our farm. Woodsbrook Fresh Beef brings the star of our dinner table to your family. Our food comes from our farm, our pastures, and our planning. This is why we take our day-to-day so seriously.
We represent the third generation of farmers on land Craig’s grandparents and parents saw a vision for. The vision has shifted over the years, but the central focus has always been feeding the community and growing a family in consonance with our cows. W.D. Hoard once wrote “The cow is the foster mother of the human race.” We agree, and we LOVE our mothers.
All of our beef is raised on the pastures of Woodsbrook Farms in Goshen, Indiana. We raise our animals on pasture for many reasons beyond the love of how they paint the landscape with beautiful scenes. Walking on dirt is great for the cows’ mobility and ensures a long, comfortable life. If you’ve ever been at a trade show or another event on concrete all day, you understand the relief of taking the first steps on grass after a long day on your feet.
