Southern Ridge Farm is a multi-generation grass-fed beef, pork, and poultry farm located just south of Nashville, Tennessee. We have worked hard for 18 years to build a shareholder community of over 250 families who order our products monthly, and who see themselves as stakeholders in the farm as they receive the highest quality products with exceptional personal service. Our beef, pork, and poultry is so delicious and healthy because our animals can always graze on a fresh salad bar of lush pastures, they can drink the mineral water from the many artesian wells and, and they can enjoy peaceful and stress free days along shady creek banks.

Our goal is for shareholders to think of Southern Ridge Farm as their farm. To see the farm as a place where families are welcome to drop by to see how their food is raised, to join in on the regular farm meals, work days, concerts, or movie nights. We envision the farm as a regular gathering place, where life slows down, community is built, ideas are exchanged, and friendships are started and strengthened.

The Products
Everyone who tries our meat says it’s the best they've ever had. We’ll let you in on a little secret—it’s because our animals are constantly using their muscles as they graze the rolling hills of our Middle Tennessee farm, exactly like the deer, elk, and bison did before them.

Our beef is 100% grass-fed and finished; we never take our cows off pasture their whole lives. And, there’s a little trick that we use to make our beef healthier than traditional grass-finished beef. You see, it’s the Omega-3, beta carotene, CLA’s, and vitamins A, D, E and K that make grass-finished beef so good for you… and all those are found in beef FAT and NOT in lean muscle. So in order to maximize the health benefit (and add just the right amount of yummy), during their last two months, we offer our steers access to non-GMO, locally grown grains to add just the perfect amount of fat and marbling. This makes our beef the most healthy and delicious beef you’ve ever tasted.

Our pork is delicious and unlike anything you've ever had before! The superior taste comes about because our pigs exercise their muscles anytime they want, walking up and down hills as they forage, which gives them well marbled, lean meat with just the perfect ratio of lean to fat. Our mouth watering cuts come from contented pigs who spend their lazy days roaming over four acres of pasture and woodlot where they can graze and root around like pigs are meant to do. These happy pigs always have access to locally grown, non-gmo grain, plenty of fresh water, and all the shade they need to lay around in perfect peace.

Our poultry is raised on pasture, where they enjoy eating fresh grass, bugs, and worms every day. With access to some locally grown, non-gmo grains, our poultry live an idyllic life. Our pastured poultry is rich in heathy fats, vitamins, and minerals, all of which makes our pastured poultry the best tasting, and most healthy chicken and turkey you can find in Tennessee.

Our wild caught seafood comes from families that we know who both catch and process the seafood. Using sustainable practices, and the most modern methods of processing, we bring you the best tasting, and most healthy wild caught seafood in America, at truly affordable prices. Our livestock management practices employ a humanely and natural methods to raise our livestock. Using rotational grazing techniques, we are sustainably managing the land while we actually build up and not deplete our resources. We operate with a net zero or lower carbon footprint.
