About
Kilgus Farmstead is a multi-generational family farm in Livingston County near Fairbury. Four Kilgus families work hard every day to provide quality dairy and meat products throughout Illinois. Our on-farm creamery bottles our own milk from herd of Jersey Cows. We do NOT homogenize our milk, so the heavy cream will separate to the top of the milk. Our dairy cattle are seasonally rotationally grazed on luscious green pastures at our farm. Their feed is also supplemented with hay and non-GMO corn that we grow ourselves. We also raise Berkshire pork, Boer goat, and Jersey and Angus beef, and custom processes these meats for our customers. None of our animals are ever given any growth hormones such as r-BST. During the spring and summer months, consumers are encouraged to book at tour of our farm and learn first hand how we care for our animals and provide outstanding food for your family to enjoy
