About
Tierra Verde Farms is a regenerative farm in Deerfield, Ohio, with roots going back to 2010, when the farm began with a desire to raise healthy food while caring for the land. What had previously been cropland was gradually converted to pasture, livestock were added, and Tierra Verde Farms officially began in 2013. Over the years, the farm has continued to grow and evolve around the connection between healthy soil, healthy animals, and healthy people.
Today, their regenerative practices are designed to follow the natural cycles of the land and the animals that inhabit it. Animals are raised free on pasture and regularly rotated across the land, helping naturally build soil fertility. Their cattle and sheep are 100% grass-fed and grass-finished, while their pigs and poultry are supplemented with non-GMO feed.
Through regenerative farming, Tierra Verde strives not simply to sustain the land, but to leave it healthier and more resilient for generations to come.
