We want to be your family's source for organically-, humanely-raised, sustainable, health promoting food. We grow the kind of food we want to eat--clean, nourishing food we so often couldn't find in the many places we've lived. Gone are the days of standing in front of the grocery store cooler staring at "green washed" labels and compromising your values with every purchase.
The Old Road Farm is a small family farm run by a helicopter pilot papa, a naturopathic doctor-turned-farmer mama and three wild-and-free kids. We work together with the land and each other to produce delicious, nutrient dense meat, eggs, produce and natural body care products in a manner that is kind to our animals and that protects and improves our air, water and soil. All animal products are raised on rotating, spray-free, organically managed pastures with no hormones or routine antibiotics. The organic grains we feed our chickens and pork are grown and milled nearby in the Hudson Valley. We aim to be like "LOIS": Local, Organic, In Season, Sustainable. Want to see something special?
