We are a 6th Generation Maryland Farm Family. As farmers, we take great pride in our work. The work on the farm consists of long days and a lot of factors that are completely out of our control such as the weather. We are in this profession because we love it and have a passion for it. We have a love for caring for and nurturing living things through our crops and our cows and we believe that taking extra care will give you the best.
We ventured into selling products from our farm in 2018 because we wanted to offer high quality products that originated on our farm and had nothing else added to them. Our milk is produced from our cows that we raise from birth and they eat the crops that we grow. We then have our milk made into cheese that has zero additives or preservatives. The same goes for our butter, yogurt, and beef. You are left with purely natural products that speak to the care and love we give our animals.
Our beef is 100% raised on our farm from birth. We use our dairy breed cattle also for our beef. We believe that these breeds have more marbling in their meat, thus giving them more flavor and juiciness.
Our animals are fed a mixed diet of grass, hay, corn silage(the whole corn plant chopped up), soybean meal, and vitamins and minerals are added according to their needs. We strive to give them a fully balanced diet of healthy fats, proteins, and carbs so that they can grow to the best of their ability. Their carcasses are dry aged for 3 weeks which also adds to the awesome flavor our cuts provide.
