I cut some low hanging branches that were clotheslining me every time I mowed the grass. The goats enjoyed their afternoon meal.

Our bantams are thrilled to be on fresh greens. These miniature chickens are the ones that lay most of our medium and smaller sized eggs.

Third grade teachers at a local school wanted to hatch eggs for their classes this year. We were happy to be a part of the kid’s’ education.

This hen must think she’s on the Western Front. We don’t have foxholes around these parts—we have fortified chickenholes.

We’ve got our first fully functional mobile coop up and on pasture. Once it warms up a bit these gals will be living in there fulltime.

It’s not spring yet, but our ducks are back at it! They are making up for lost time and we’re pleased to have their eggs for sale again.

The oats and peas are tall enough to include that acreage in the enclosure. The girls are enjoying the new hunting grounds.
