We live on a small family farm in Leesburg Indiana. We had and continue to have the privilege of raising our six kids on the farm and cannot think of a better way to instill values about birth, growth, maturity, and life than through the experience of working along side our kids. However most of our children have left the nest pursuing their passions, but there are three still helping around the farm. One willingly and the other two still in high school and well they still have duties to fulfill around the house and farm. We raise and sell beef, chicken, lamb and eggs. We are truly thankful for our chance to raise our family on the farm and to provide healthy, nutritious food to our community.
I am extremely disappointed with the conventional way of farming. So often poultry is raised in confined, polluted areas where disease is the norm. That is why big producers load the poultry with medications including antibiotics. The conditions flocks of poultry are subjected to in big farms nourished my desire for a more natural way to raise poultry. Grass-feeding animals provides more essential vitamins and omega-3 fatty acids and is also cleaner and more natural. Raising animals in open fields not only offers more nutrients, it is also humane
Now we have turned our dreams into reality and as we continue this journey we hope you follow along
