Micro Greens ~ Baby Greens ~ Garden to Table Things!
We “love” being a local source of 20+ varieties of delicious, healthy, gourmet micro greens. If you are new to the micro green scene, the first thing you should know is that micro greens are a superfood, each variety having it’s own impressive nutritional profile. Micro greens are young vegetable seedlings that are between the sprout and the baby green stage and are more nutrient dense than full grown vegetables. They are fun to use and have great color and flavor which is why you’ll see them being used by chefs in most trendy restaurants. Some micro’s are quite flavorful, while others are a milder version of their full grown selves. You are very likely to find one that you will love, even if you aren't a veggie lover.
If you struggle with getting your recommended daily allowance (RDA) of vegetables, you can easily incorporate micro greens into any meal. We literally throw a handful onto pretty much anything that we eat….eggs, avocado toast, sandwiches, taco’s, pasta and rice dishes. They make great salads as well!
Our greens are grown in a soil / coco coir blend, for flavor, using organic & sustainable methods. No hydroponics here, which require fertilizers & additives. We harvest & deliver each small batch, at the peak of freshness, to ensure that you get the most nutritional value from your greens. Aged greens = less nutrients. We offer other seasonal garden items such as fruit jams, edible flowers & herbs. COMING SOON…gourmet mini lettuce!
We love to cook and eat almost as much as gardening. This is where our kitchen garden concept comes in. We love taking whatever produce that we have on-hand to create delicious recipes. We’ll either share our pics and recipes with you or offer some of our baked goods for purchase, like our micro matcha cupcakes, micro basil flatbread, zucchini muffins and recipe kits.
